This stem fits perfectly on a Pinarello bike, which has a specific headset cup designed to accommodate this stem. The cover has a small pin that positions the stem perfectly on the axle. It is secured by two screws that rest on an aluminium pad. This technique significantly reduces stress on the fork pivot and also provides a strong, uniform clamp.Its teardrop shape provides excellent aerodynamics and significant rigidity.
