The PRO LT Compact 31.8 mm handlebars are designed to offer a good balance between ergonomics, stiffness and affordability. Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, it features a compact shape with a 70 mm reach and a 125 mm drop, allowing you to move easily from the bar ends to the bottom of the handlebars.

Available in several widths – 38, 40, 42 and 44 cm depending on the version – it is equally suited to leisure cycling, regular training or competitive cycling. The width is generally measured from centre to centre at the grips.

A Compact geometry to make it easier to find the right position on the handlebars

The Compact geometry is one of this handlebar’s key features.

With a reach of just 70 mm and a drop of 125 mm, the PRO LT Compact makes it easier to move from the drop-bar position to the lower position. Compared to a traditional handlebar with a greater drop, this design means you don’t have to lower your hands as far to reach the bottom of the handlebar.

31.8 mm diameter: a widely used standard

The clamp diameter at the stem is 31.8 mm. This is a standard widely used on modern road bikes and is compatible with many stems featuring the same clamp diameter.

Please note: before fitting, you must check the clamp diameter of your stem. A 31.8 mm handlebar must not be fitted to a stem designed for a different diameter.

However, the choice of width should not be based solely on the frame size. It also depends on shoulder width, the desired riding position and the type of cycling.

A handlebar suited to long rides

The compact shape of the PRO LT can be particularly comfortable for long rides. The 70 mm reduced reach allows you to maintain a relatively comfortable position when your hands are on the shifters.

The 125 mm drop remains substantial enough to offer a low position when the terrain or the intensity of the ride requires it.
