The new Shimano R7000 rear derailleur features a brand new design and a particularly compact format. Shimano's Discrete Shadow technology allows the derailleur body to be housed under the cassette. This R7000 derailleur features a new Direct Mount mounting system, which makes the whole unit even more rigid, improving gear shifting. It is compatible with all road frames on the market. The geometry of the Shimano 105 R7000 rear derailleur has been completely redesigned. Shimano engineers have worked on the shape of the rear derailleur to make the new rear derailleur compatible with 11-30 cassettes, even in this short cage version, without compromising smoothness or increasing the weight of the derailleur.p>
