Shimano Dura Ace FC-R9100 road bike small chainring

The Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9100 small chainring is designed to be fitted to Shimano Dura-Ace FC-R9100 cranksets in the inner position. Variants that use this crankset, such as the R9150 and R9120 groupsets, are of course compatible. The Hollowglide hollow chainring gives the crankset greater stiffness whilst being lighter, and optimises the rider’s power transfer from the pedal to the drivetrain.

Shifting from one chainring to another is also optimised so that the chain switches in a quarter-turn from the large to the small chainring and vice versa. It is important to ensure compatibility for optimum efficiency.
