- 46, 50, 52MB (for 36 teeth) or 53 teeth; Shimano strongly recommends the following combinations: 50x34, 52x36, 53x39, 54x42 or 55x42; other combinations, such as 53x36 or 52x34, may cause the chain to jump or jam, or even destroy the crankset, which is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.Please note that the 46-tooth chainring is different from the others; it is flat and requires the use of specific Shimano Y1P498090 covers to attach the chainring. Also compatible with the X110 Speciality TA bolt kit (see related item).
