The Ultegra ST-R8020 left- Shimano e is a brake and gear lever designed for road bikes fitted with hydraulic disc brakes and 11-speed mechanical drivetrains. Part of the Ultegra R8000 groupset, it offers an excellent balance between performance, ergonomics and reliability, drawing directly on Dura-Ace technologies for more precise and comfortable handling.

Designed for the left hand, this lever controls the hydraulic front brake and, depending on the bike’s configuration, the front derailleur (2x11 system). It features a compact lever body, revised ergonomics and a reach adjustment function, allowing the lever position to be adapted to different body types and riding preferences.

The integrated hydraulic braking system ensures powerful and progressive control, even in challenging conditions (rain, long descents, rough terrain), whilst gear changes remain smooth and intuitive thanks to the ‘ Shimano ’ dual-control system, optimised for the R8000 series.
