Effetto Mariposa has formulated Caffélatex preventive liquid to cover all tyre solutions currently on the market. This preventative is compatible with rubber and latex tubular and tyre inner tubes. It can also be used on tubeless and tubeless-ready tyres.

Caffélatex also stands out for its foaming properties when the wheel is rotating. Thanks to this property, it fills the entire inner tube, instead of being pressed against the bottom of the tyre or inner tube by centrifugal force. As a result, Caffélatex provides optimal protection against sidewall punctures and pinch flats. This sealant includes silicate microparticles in its formula for greater effectiveness and faster action. It is capable of sealing holes with a diameter of 5 mm on tubeless MTB tyres and 3 mm on tubeless road tyres. used 4 times for latex inner tubes, 2 punctures and 2 porous tubes, one repair was successful on a small hole and a recent tube, however, failure for an old and damaged tube with a significant cut (3-4mm), for 2 other new tubes but stored for a long time with porous chambers, the result is also 50%, but I had very little product left for the aborted repair (15ml)... I will try again... not very easy to use: beware of product backflow after injection into the valve whose core was removed, despite using an adapted syringe... (Translated review)

First test on a significant hole, which made the liquid burst out spectacularly. Once the tire was almost flat, I reinflated it and have been riding for over a month with no other intervention, except for recharging the tube with product!! Magical! (Translated review)
