Massi Hayes MX2 / MX3 mechanical MTB brake pads - 31269

Massi 31269 MTB brake pads are replacement pads designed for Hayes MX2 and MX3 mechanical braking systems. They are also advertised as being compatible with Sole Hydraulic systems. Their organic lining ensures progressive, quiet braking, making them suitable for all-round mountain biking use.

The Massi MS-31269 is therefore a practical solution for replacing worn pads and restoring effective braking on a mountain bike fitted with a compatible caliper. The available specifications clearly identify the compound as organic (resin) and confirm compatibility with the Hayes MX2/MX3 mechanical systems.

Key features of the Massi 31269 brake pads

• Brand: Massi
• Part number: MS-31269 / 31269
• Type: disc brake pads
• Padding: organic / resin
• Main compatibility: Hayes MX2 / MX3 mechanical
• Also advertised as compatible with: Sole Hydraulic
• Designed specifically for mountain bikes
• Smooth and responsive braking
• Replacement solution for worn pads
• Designed for fitting to compatible calipers

For very demanding use or long mountain descents, however, the choice of compound must be suited to the type of riding and the level of stress placed on the brakes. Before placing an order, it is essential to check the caliper reference number to avoid any compatibility issues.

Fitting and running-in

After replacement, check that the pads are correctly positioned and that the disc is clean and free from grease or oil. A gradual running-in period is recommended before subjecting the brakes to heavy use: perform several moderate braking manoeuvres, allowing the system to cool down between each one.

Do not drive with brake pads contaminated by oil or any greasy substance: their effectiveness may be significantly reduced.
