Medium or long cage, Shadow+ system
Notre avis
Equipped with the Shadow+ system, the derailleur is more compact, reducing its exposure to impact.
A former racer with a keen eye for equipment
The new Shimano XT M8000 groupset now has 11 speeds. Its rear derailleur is equipped with Shadow+ technology, which prevents the chain from hitting the frame when riding over rough terrain and prevents derailment at the chainrings thanks to increased chain tension.

Published Nov 30, 2024 at 03:21 pmBought to replace the previous derailleur (the same) whose hanger twisted like marshmallow when it caught a small branch. I also ride SRAM GX on another bike, much sturdier. But Shimano's gear shifting is a notch above SRAM: more precise, smoother. And a bit cheaper. (Translated review)
