Northwave Blade Light Jacket 2027 winter cycling jacket

Northwave ’s Blade Light jacket is a mid-season cycling jacket designed for autumn and winter rides when the weather can change quickly. It offers effective protection against light to moderate rain whilst maintaining good moisture-wicking performance.

Its fluorocarbon-free DWR CO-PFC water-repellent finish allows water to bead up on the surface, with a claimed waterproof rating of 5,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h (MVTR), a balance well-suited to sustained exertion in mid-season. The main fabric— 100% polyester, with a weight of 240 g/m²—provides durable protection without adding excess weight.

This Northwave Blade Light Jacket features a double-slider front zip for easy ventilation on ascents, and three rear pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing gloves, including a zipped pocket to keep personal belongings secure. Reflective inserts enhance visibility in low light.
