Very good product, like many high-end Shimano (Translated review)
I mounted this pair of pedals on a road bike because I have always hated SPS SL as they are too dangerous. The result is undoubtedly the best compromise between safety and performance, because if you have shoes with a stiffness sole of 10 or more in carbon, you have no loss of power transmission. Advantages: Safety, double-sided fixation, XTR/dura ace bearings, durability, and SPD compatibility on a wide range of shoes with soles for walking normally on the road. Sure, it's 310g per pair instead of 228g in dura ace, but for the difference, you get safety and comfort. (Translated review)
