Commissioning fees

The set-up fee covers all the services provided by Materiel-velo.com, from assembling and adjusting the bike to handing it over to its new owner.


Set-up process:

- Assembly and general condition check of the bike
- Checking the various moving parts: steering / bottom bracket / wheels / suspension
- Checking all torque and tightening specifications recommended by the manufacturer
- Adjusting the brakes and drivetrain
- Adjusting tyre pressure: preventative measures for tubeless set-up
- Adjustment of suspension SAG (compression) for mountain bikes
- Updating electronic components: drivetrain / speedometer / motor
- Bicycle registration: affixing the Bicycode sticker / online registration
- Online manufacturer registration: tracking / extended warranty
- Personalised maintenance log
