Offering high performance across the board, the Roeckl Rocca 2 GTX gloves are designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding cyclists, those who need to keep their hands warm for long hours in the saddle. The knitted cuff ensures maximum warmth and excellent wind protection. The Easy-Dry inner lining provides an extra layer of insulation to improve heat retention. The Gote-Tex membrane makes this pair waterproof whilst ensuring maximum breathability.
The back of the glove is made from Dize Flex, a water-repellent polyester material, which allows it to follow every movement of your hands perfectly, whether you’re controlling your bike, changing gears or braking. As for the palm, it is made from Durasense and reinforced with All-Weather Grip to ensure a good grip. The seamless Comfort-Innovation padding between the thumb and index finger, along with the Ergonomic Cut foam, make these gloves more comfortable. An elasticated Velcro fastening ensures excellent support during exercise. Finally, these Roeckl Rocca 2 GTX gloves are also practical, being touchscreen-compatible whilst featuring reflective elements and a terry-cloth thumb for wiping away sweat.

I tested these gloves bought at Matériel vélo during my bike trip in Northern Europe this year. For the cold, I can't say anything, but regarding protection against rain, don't dream, no gore-tex, tex-pore or other product will protect you for more than thirty minutes in the rain and if you think about sweating, well test them statically and you'll see. Nothing like the experience... On the other hand, the XL sizes are very loose, with very long fingers. (Translated review)
I have always suffered from cold hands (and feet). I have tried countless pairs of gloves (I previously had Castelli Estremo, not really effective and not tactile). I didn't know this brand but what a mistake! These gloves are magical. Terribly effective in terms of protection against cold and humidity, and this on all fingers (the Castelli have a major flaw on the thumbs). They are also perfectly compatible with touch screens, which is a real plus! Very easy to put on, they rise well over the jacket ensuring good insulation. I am THRILLED with this purchase, especially at this amazing price of 75€, thank you Materiel Vélo! Be careful with the size, it's German so it runs large. The L is a size 9 (which fits like a 10).
