First experience with these insoles and it's quite conclusive. To situate the cyclist, I have varus knees and I wear orthopedic insoles (important arch support). I took the insoles in size 43 for Shimano RC502 shoes in size 42 (a tour on the Solestar site which specifies the sizes of insoles according to shoe brands is not superfluous) and it's perfect. Dynamically, as far as I'm concerned, you can feel the arch well supported, the foot aligned with respect to the ankle and a more instinctive and effective pedaling. It should be kept in mind that these insoles cause a morphological change that generates some slight pain (in my case, after one outing). However, after two or three gentle and not too long outings (less than 2 hours), this is no longer an issue and each new outing is a real pleasure as the pedaling is comfortable and effective: no pain, thin insole (2 mm, you gain a bit of space in the shoe), no more tingling in the toes and saddle lowered by 3 mm in my case (Solestar recommends 5 mm). For me, it's all good but 4 stars because I have to admit it's not cheap. (Translated review)
After buying a first pair in 2019 and many kilometers, it was time to renew. The new model is more enveloping for MTB and road, the pedal strokes are stiffer and more effective, nothing compares to the original soles. Ordered on Saturday, received the following week, always very good for the delay and better price compared to the competition. (Translated review)
