The new Shimano WH-GRX870 wheel has been designed to increase performance on recreational and competitive gravel courses. Shimano has developed carbon rims to accommodate the wider tyres used in gravel riding, especially those with low pressure. This makes it possible to fit tyres with a section width of 32 to 50 mm to enjoy the best lateral rigidity while maintaining front-end comfort.

The 32 mm rim profile is the most suitable for gravel riding. Neither too high nor too low, the rim performs flawlessly on all terrains.Shimano WH-RX870 wheels are fitted with Center Lock disc brake hubs.
