Zéfal Extra Dry Wax bicycle chain lubricant

Zéfal Extra Dry Wax is a comprehensive chain lubricant. Composed of a specific formulation of wax and water, this lubricant will help you maintain a clean and quiet drivetrain. Once applied using its drip system, Zéfal Extra Dry Wax and its wax film provide excellent protection against corrosion, while effectively repelling dirt and dust. In dry conditions, the lubrication promises excellent durability, up to 500 km on the road and 200 km on a mountain bike. In wet weather, it is advisable to reapply the lubricant after each ride. All this with the aim of always having smooth pedalling and a quiet drivetrain.

To make its Extra Dry Wax as effective as possible, Zéfal offers advice on how to use it. When applying the product for the first time to a new or already lubricated and dirty chain, you must first degrease and clean the chain to remove any grease. Then rinse and leave to dry. Next, apply the lubricant generously and evenly to the inside of the chain, then wait for the white colour to disappear. It is advisable to apply this product several hours before riding.
