After years of research, Shimano has unveiled a new design for its DURA-ACE BR-R9270 hydraulic road brake calipers. As well as being more compact than its predecessors, the BR-9270 caliper is constructed using a monobloc method. This process makes it even more rigid and lightweight, despite its small size.

Shimano has a habit of breaking the mould. The reduced size of the Dura-Ace BR-R9270 brake caliper might lead you to think it is less powerful and less functional. Quite the opposite! With its new MONO-BODY construction, the BR-R9270 brake caliper is lighter, more powerful and offers greater clearance for the pads, eliminating noise whilst riding.

Maintenance has also been improved with a new quick and easy bleeding process.
