The side bottle cage is the practical solution if you have a small frame, a mountain bike, or if your bike is equipped with a bikepacking frame bag.

You will have the luxury of choosing which side you want to grab the bottle from, as the Zéfal Pulse Z2i is reversible. With two turns of a key, you can change the direction of the bottle cage to suit your needs.

The icing on the cake is that the Zéfal Pulse Z2i comes with mounts for a pump and a CO2 inflator.

The bottle holds well, it comes out quite easily when needed. The pump location on the side is very practical. Likewise, it holds well. The scratch retention system is not easy to position correctly without rubbing against the frame or the bottle, however. (Translated review)
