The Cross King RaceSport's premium BlackChili compound provides excellent grip, high efficiency, great durability and low rolling resistance. According to Continental, this rubber improves rolling resistance by 26% but also provides around 30% more grip compared to activated silica-based compounds. The additional puncture protection strip (ProTection) makes the tyre particularly resistant to punctures. It should be noted that the tread and sidewalls are protected in the same way. However, this protection is 25% lighter and provides 30% better puncture protection than the previous Duraskin protection.
