To make your long rides a success, you need the right cycling shorts. Assos and its Mille GTS GTO version provide the perfect fabric for this activity. The GTO has a 21 mm insert, a comfortable fit and a 3 cm longer lower leg than the standard version.
Textile expert and former professional runner
The Assos Mille GTS GTO long cycling shorts feature a 3cm longer leg length compared to the standard version. This is a specific request that is also in line with current trends to provide a little more protection and muscle support. Otherwise, they feature the Ossidia fabric, which allows the shorts to fit the cyclist perfectly, without unnecessary pressure. The RollBar straps ensure the shorts stay perfectly in place whether you’re sitting or standing on the pedals.
On this GTO version, the 21 mm pad sets a new standard for comfort. It features 11mm of lightweight Microshock foam to absorb shocks, whilst the 10mm Filterfoam, with its breathable cell structure, wicks away moisture and micro-vibrations.
To ensure a secure fit on the thighs, the shorts incorporate SkinGrip technology, a lightweight silicone treatment that applies no unnecessary pressure.
