27.5-inch Maxxis Assegai Wide Trail Exo MTB tyre with soft beads, tubeless ready

Developed with professional mountain biker Greg Minnaar, the Maxxis Assegai tyre takes its name from the iron-tipped spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa, the home country of the most successful rider in the World Cup – a fitting name for a tyre ready to battle on the mountain. This tyre features tall knobs designed to provide traction in dust and loose soil. This design gives it remarkable versatility, offering support and confidence over roots and wet rocks. Its narrow side knobs ensure secure grip in all conditions. As such, Maxxis offers a tyre capable of going fast anywhere.

Its tubeless-ready system delivers greater efficiency and grip, allowing you to ride at lower pressures. The Exo protection integrated into the tyre’s sidewalls ensures greater reliability against punctures and tears on demanding trails.
