Sram XX1 Eagle 12-speed 10/52 MTB rear derailleur

The design of this derailleur retains the principle of a ‘horizontal parallelogram’. Using this Sram-specific principle, the derailleur manages the 12 sprockets of the cassette. On this new generation, the maximum capacity is 10 to 52 teeth, ranging from the 10-tooth sprocket to the 50-tooth sprocket. To improve the smoothness of gear changes, the lower pulley has 14 teeth and the upper one 12.

Roller Bearing Clutch technology has evolved and is now in its third generation. The drivetrain is quieter, and there is also less chain rattling on the base. This is achieved by the constant tension of the derailleur. The Cage Lock system, which locks the derailleur cage (and makes it easier to fit or remove the wheel), has been positioned further back to protect it from debris.
