The Shimano SLX RD-M7100 SGS rear derailleur with long cage is designed exclusively for 12-speed single-chainring drivetrains. Its design allows for smooth gear changes with 10-45 and 10-51 cassettes.
Featuring the Shadow RD+ system, the derailleur ensures excellent chain tension for a quieter and more reliable drivetrain without chain skipping. Like the higher-end ranges, the SLX RD-M7100 derailleur has 13-tooth pulleys, allowing for better management of the gear ratio range on the 12-speed cassette.
