Sram Force AXS D1 DUB single-chainring 12-speed road bike crankset

The single-chainring version is ideal for specific time trial events, flat courses or strictly mountain-based events (hill climbs). The appeal lies in reducing the bike’s weight (no front derailleur and a single chainring) whilst maintaining optimal drivetrain smoothness. You simply adjust the cassette sprocket configuration.

In terms of power transfer, it’s perfect. This Sram Force D1 crankset uses DUB axle technology, which originates from mountain biking and proves to be both stiff and lightweight. It also makes managing the bottom bracket much simpler with a single standard. It is also worth noting that this crankset can be converted into a power meter by adding the optional (paid) Quarq star.
