The cranks of the Rotor VEGAST bottom bracket have been designed to commemorate the brand's three historic Grand Tour victories (Tour de France 2008, Vuelta España 2011 and Giro Italia 2012). The symbolic name is inspired by the three highest climbs in these iconic races: VEleta - GAlibier - STelvio, so you can challenge yourself on the steepest slopes in cycling. The innovative modular system of the VEGAST allows you to select each component, from the axle to the cranks and chainrings, to suit the configuration of your bike and your unique physical characteristics. Choose your configuration from ROTOR's Q RINGS or Round Direct Mount one-piece chainrings, or classic chainrings, taking care to first mount the compatible 4-arm spider.Direct Mount technology features an exclusive interface connecting the crank arm, axle and chainring, allowing you to easily assemble and disassemble your crankset with a single bolt. Combined with Q RINGS, OCP mounting technology allows you to adjust your optimal chainring position (OCP) to within less than one degree to precisely configure your unique OCP, optimising power delivery according to your pedalling style.
Manufactured using CNC processes, the VEGAST features the Trinity drilling system, with three internal holes running from the axle to the pedal, offering the dual advantage of an exceptionally light crank and superior rigidity for the most demanding rides.
