Continental Grand Prix 5000 650b road bike tyre

The new Continental GP 5000 tyre in 650 features innovative Active Comfort technology, which allows the carcass to follow the wheel's surface by deforming very slightly. It also features Vectran reinforcement strategically positioned on the tread to improve puncture resistance.

Black Chili rubber: performance and versatility

The Black Chili process is still used for the rubber, which remains the most efficient and versatile rubber in this segment, regardless of weather conditions. Note the new laser-designed tread pattern, which offers greater uniformity.

In terms of performance, the GP 5000 offers 12% greater rolling resistance, 20% more protection and weighs 10 grams less than the GP 4000 SII.
