Its wax and water-based formulation keeps the chain quiet and clean. The low-temperature version offers an additional benefit by lowering the lubricant's freezing point. It remains effective even when temperatures drop below zero. It also offers excellent durability. Squirt Lube low-temperature bicycle lubricant uses a clever blend of waxes and water to make it easy to apply to the chain. Once the water has evaporated, only the wax remains, providing exceptional lubrication that ensures perfect power transmission, smooth gear changes and, above all, reduces chain jumps.The main advantage of this dry wax is that it prevents dust from accumulating on the chain and is highly resistant to shocks and vibrations. It is therefore particularly suitable for mountain biking, cyclo-cross or road cycling in winter. It has a very long-lasting lubricating effect, much longer than its competitors: this lubricating wax is ideal for events lasting several hours. Squirt Lube wax significantly reduces transmission noise and makes gear changes easier. Another significant advantage is that it is 100% biodegradable! Application advice: the chain must be perfectly clean before applying the wax. The chain must be washed and degreased. The chain must be completely dry before the first application. After the first application, allow to dry so that the water contained in the wax evaporates (time varies depending on conditions), then apply a second, lighter coat. Hello. But why wait so long to use this product? Fed up with having a dirty black chain and cassette with my usual lubricant, not to mention my hands and clothes. The only obligation is to perfectly degrease the new chain and cassette. When the weather is humid, grease every 100 km, in dry weather, every 200 km. I wipe my chain and pulleys with a cloth beforehand, apply on 2 turns of chain and it's done. As a bonus, my frame is no longer soiled with grease. Pure happiness. Right now I'm using the low temperatures one. Just to clarify, I have no shares in Squirt. (Translated review)

I've been using it for 5 years mainly on mountain bikes and the mule. It's perfect and easy to maintain: even the marks on the calf come off in the shower! However, the lubrication is limited to a ride of 80/100 km (depending on weather conditions), which makes it very interesting for mountain biking. One could hope for a more precise application mode that spreads the product better. (Translated review)
