The two pawls in this kit replace those normally used to create the freewheel mechanism. Your freewheel body is transformed into a fixed gear, and your HXR crankset and its specific system take over. When you stop pedalling, it is no longer the wheel that disengages, but the crankset. This makes it possible to change gears on the rear wheel even without pedalling.
This assembly is only compatible with Mavic ITS4 hubs and the HXR crankset.Technical specifications
