Notre avis

It doesn't get much better than this!

Innovation often comes from where you least expect it. Already legendary in its day, the Sram Red crankset is now available with new graphics to match the new Sram red eTap electronic components.

To make a lighter crankset, we made it bigger. To increase rigidity, we used less material. The new Sram Red Exogram crankset is completely hollow up to the spider. Its hidden bolt pattern makes better use of carbon fibre to improve rigidity and reduce weight. The incredible X GlideR chainrings are optimised for use with Yaw front derailleur technology, ensuring tailored and flawless performance. - Component of the new Sram Red eTap groupset - The stiffest crankset ever designed - The hidden bolt design takes advantage of the characteristics of carbon fibre while offering an elegant appearance - X GlideR chainrings feature a thicker construction, advanced gear synchronisation rivets and ramps, optimised for shifting with the Yaw front derailleur - Weight: 595 grams (verified weight in 172.5mm 50-34) - Compatible with Sram, Shimano or KMC 11-speed chains - Mounts with BB30 bearings or a Pressfit 30 bottom bracket - Sold without bottom bracket!

Product of apparent good quality. Perfect operation on the first outings, to be validated over time. The provision of spacer washers would facilitate installation, to compensate for the small variations in the length of the housing that the threaded system is not enough to catch up. On the phone advice from the bike equipment team, I ordered this crankset to mount on a 10V group. Front derailleur Dura Ace 7800, Shimano 6701 chain. So 10V and no Yaw derailleur. Well, it works! Just as well as my old SRAM FORCE 2x10v crankset. Let's see over time. Maybe it's not at the level of a real 11V setup with the Yaw, but it's already very smooth and everything works perfectly. So happy, to follow over the kilometers. (Translated review)
