The integration of carbon reduces weight and a non-slip surface increases grip. With the Shimano I-spec II mounting system, only one clamp is needed to attach the brake lever and shifter. The right-hand shifter can be fitted with a Shimano 11-speed single, double or triple chainring.

For INFO, the Shimano XTR SL-M9000 right shifter is perfectly compatible with Shimano XTR BR-M9100 I-Spec brakes. I installed them without any problem. (Translated review)
