Our usage tips:

- Ideal for XC and sport touring.

- We recommend this tyre for use on wet and rocky terrain; it offers excellent grip whilst maintaining good performance.

- Recommended for front-wheel fitment. On the rear, you can pair it with a Toro 29x2.25 Hutchinson if the terrain is very wet and muddy. If conditions are slightly damp, you might consider fitting the Python 2 to the rear as 29x2.25.

Description:

The Tubeless Ready Hutchinson Taipan MTB tyre prioritises performance, lightness and grip. It offers excellent lateral mud clearance thanks to its V-shaped tread blocks and optimal grip thanks to the progressive volume of the side tread blocks.

Technologies:

Easy tubeless assembly, holds pressure well. Very versatile tires on dry, mud, perfect for keeping all year round. The only downside is the large knobs that slip on roots or stones, causing the tire to detach. This can be remedied by putting very little pressure.

I tested this tire on Sunday in a race and the conditions were really not good, I was impressed by how the tire held up and reacted on the small paths and the roots and the very slippery stones, I highly recommend this tire, very good quality and low price

Tire relatively versatile, rolls well with good grip. Except in heavy mud, it is quite versatile. Be careful, Hutchinson sizes smaller than Maxxis.
